These stocks were chosen 'cause of the great quality and size of the images, most weren't very big at all and wouldn't have made it to the quality standard I needed.
This image actually started out with an idea of just a light shining up on a large building, with a dark sunset, and then seen a 4th of July image and out pops this idea, so I quickly searched for the firework images. I had the American flag image for about over 15 years now, actually drawn by me with a very low quality image as a bottom layer (to trace over and see where all the stars/stripes go) No post work was done except for signatures, the added stock images were worked as images in the background with transparencies made for them, and translucency applied and a linear light behind added.

This looks so real. The lighting from the fireworks, very cool.
We had fireworks at the lake and in the city. We went to the lake. It was more fun. The one in the city was better we heard because it had more different kinds of fireworks whereas the one at the lake was simple but we could do more fun stuff out on the water.
Plus ours went on for almost an hour. And we had sparklers. They let us play with those. I had a whole box just for me.
